Jellysmack is going bigger and expanding internationally

4 min readNov 18, 2021

As 2021 draws to a close, most companies look forward to what they have achieved during the year. They list here and there their accomplishments, their successes, their milestones.

At Jellysmack, we’re not the type to look in the rearview mirror. Rather than asking ourselves what great things we have done in the past, we prefer to look to the future.

And thus imagine its contours, thanks to the help of the best talents. This is why for several months now, we have been recruiting all over the world to build solid foundations for the promising year 2022.

To develop our projects and reach creators worldwide, we have therefore decided to open many offices across the globe. International expansion is at the heart of our strategy, as we said in May after we secured funding from leading tech venture capital company, SoftBank.

Jellysmack has since appointed former YouTube executive Youri Hazanov as Head of international. And he aims to develop Jellysmack’s presence everywhere.

What’s important to understand is that the creators are the new rockstars. And they’re in demand by dozens of businesses all day long. Therefore, we need to have local roots to understand the cultures of our potential partners. And adapt our offers to their needs and desires. ”

Hazanov has brought on two senior leaders to aid him in his new role: Harry Levy will focus on EMEA and Latin America as head of sales and partnerships, while Laurent Hulin will serve as general manager in the APAC region
